Saturn-C Cyrillic
- A famous calligrapher and artist Dmitry Lamonov painted for us a limited series of clocks “Day and Night” based on the Saturn-C concrete model, the design of which was developed by the well-known designer from St. Petersburg Yaroslav Minsonzhnikov; The artist painted both models by hand, models are perfectly look in pair; "Day" is painted in silver, Russian proverb ("Век долог, да час дорог") is written all over the case in stylized Cyrillic font, the nearest English equivalents are "So much to do, so little done" and "Time is money".
- Only 20 pieces will be released in the collection: 5 of the Day and 15 of the Night versions.
- Nixie Tubes were produced in 70-80s and can work in our clocks up to 30 years.
- Personal certificate made on designer cotton paper using letterpress printing.
- Supplied in a black premium box with golden embossing on top.

Nixie clocks painted in Cyrillic font are a modern revival of beautiful things and traditions of the past. When creating a concrete case, the case of our legendary marble clock Saturn-5, which was exhibited in the Tretyakov Gallery, was taken as a basis. Since we pay great attention not only to high-quality materials and components, but also to design and packaging, it was extremely important for us to show the world a fundamentally new design.
Dmitry Lamonov is a specialist in Cyrillic fonts – he is inspired by traditional Russian crafts and combines them with graphic motifs of the digital world. Dmitry approached the painting with the same scrupulous care with which we approach the creation of our clocks. The text is located on concentric circles that radiate from the lamps. Dmitry specially selected proverbs that relate to time. On the “Saturn-B Day” clock it is written “The century is long, but the hour is dear.”
This clock, together with the “Saturn-B Night”, was conceived as a diptych, two works of art that complement each other.
