This model looks like old radiograms - it gets you back to your childhood, to fairy tales told by Grandmas and funny stories made up by Grandpas, to the feeling when the whole world was open to you.
“Sputnik-1” has got small IN-12 nixie tubes which are half-hidden in the case. These tubes are arched, so we designed a special frame that both protects the tubes and accomplishes the image of a vintage radiogram.
The case is assembled of 3 elements and each of them is cut out of a solid piece of wood, polished and waxed. You can choose not only light or dark versions, but also “construct” your own: we can create a case made of both types of wood in any combination. Natural wood veins will make each example of “Sputnik-1” unique.

A “Sputnik-1” set includes a standard brown cardboard box, a cable, an adapter, and a user’s guide. A personal certificate isn’t included.
The clock is about 8 on 2,5 inches and 3 inches high, made of oak and thermoash.
