Retro nixie clock Sputnik-1
It’s the most affordable retro nixie clock!
“Sputnik-1” is the best retro nixie clock for lovers of vintage style. Once you look at it, you time journey to the past starts, although this time-machine is quite modern inside.
The case is made of thermoash: when ash is treated in an autoclave machine at the temperature of approximately 390 F, it changes its color and features and becomes more solid. The case is assembled of 3 elements and each of them is cut out of a single piece of wood, polished and waxed.
“Sputnik-1” has got small IN-12 nixie tubes which are half-hidden in the case. These tubes are arched, so we designed a special frame that both protects the tubes and accomplishes the image of a vintage radiogram.
